By using DC Inverter compressors, brushless DC fan motors and PFC control method, the units are able to perfectly regulate the operating power. Without sharp starts and stops, the units operate consistently with a high degree of efficiency. The energy consumption of these units is 30% less than other constant speed heat pumps.

EVI Technology
The specialized EVI technology, in the Hero Plus series, keeps the pump performance stable even at very low outside temperatures.

0.5o C Adjustment Accuracy
The units can change the operating frequency of the compressors automatically depending on the heating or cooling demand. When the pump reaches the target, the unit operates at a lower frequency, so the temperature control accuracy can be 0.5 o C.

Heating/cooling speed
When there is a large difference between the actual and the selected temperature, the unit can operate at a higher frequency to quickly reach the desired heating or cooling temperature, thereby allowing the temperature to increase or decrease quickly.

Pump bottom resistance
A resistor has been added to the bottom of the pump to prevent freezing of liquids accumulated by the exchanger. As soon as the ambient temperature drops below the 4oC limit, it is activated to prevent the bottom of the pump from freezing. Once the temperature rises above 6oC, it switches off.

Silicone resistance to protect the compressor from freezing
Another innovation of ECON heat pumps is the addition of silicone resistance which surrounds the body of the compressor. This protects the compressor from freezing of its oils internally and ensures smooth, stable and safe operation of the compressor in any condition.

Smart defrost
Traditional defrosting method: The traditional defrosting method is with a fixed defrosting time and starting temperature. Once the ambient temperature reaches or is lower than -7oC, the unit will start the defrost process. Thus, when there is no demand for defrosting, energy is wasted, while at the same time the heating efficiency is reduced.

Smart Defrost Method: Hero / Hero Plus series smart defrost uses the pressure sliding defrost technology to calculate the exact defrost time according to the actual ambient temperature. This saves energy and makes the heat pump work with high efficiency.

Remote control of the heat pump with DTU (Data transfer unit) technology
With the addition of the DTU software inside the pump (Hero Plus model) there is a built-in SIM card in the unit and via a central server web platform it is possible to remotely control it. It is also possible to obtain information on the operating status of the unit, to check possible fault codes that have occurred as well as to perform remote software upgrades. This particular technology enables the technician to know the operating status of the unit at any time and to provide an immediate solution to any problem wherever the unit is placed.

The ECON Hero – Hero Plus series of heat pumps are harmonized with the new standards of European legislation, achieving the highest efficiencies on the market both in the Energy Label A +++ and in the seasonal efficiency degree n s , which reaches 148.4%.

TUBE IN SHELL technology tubular exchanger
The tubular water exchanger ensures a long life as there are no intermediate joints and the possibility of leakage is eliminated. Through the TUBE IN SHELL technology and the special fins on the surface of the exchanger, its heated surface increases and the exchange of heat between water and coolant becomes more efficient.

Branded compressors for great reliability and high performance.
ECON heat pumps feature branded compressors, Mitsubishi for the Hero models and Panasonic for the Hero Plus models. This ensures high reliability and high performance in the most unfavorable installation conditions.

Controller with 5-inch color touch screen
With the new 5-inch touch screen, the use of the heat pump becomes easier as it is possible to control the operation of the unit and configure it according to the requirements of each installation. Also with a maximum control cable extension of up to 200 meters you can extend the control in the space you want.
